Bluelight Template
Not so long ago, I was scouring the internet looking for WordPress articles when I came across ThemeForest. This was undoubtedly the greatest accident to happen to me as a freelancer. Launched late last year, ThemeForest allows designers and developers to sell their stock WordPress themes, HTML templates, Joomla, Flash and much more for a commission. The more you sell, the more percentage of commission you get. Simple.
Being a freelancer, I’m always looking for a source of passive income. It’s nice to have money coming in even if you don’t have projects going. Not only is it convenient, it’s necessary for freelance success.
I had been working on a few html websites just for my own use at the time I found ThemeForest. Obviously it didn’t take me long to realize I could be making money selling stock html code. I spent the next two weeks cleaning up code and testing until it was primed for an approval process. I had planned on getting rejected the first few times, just because I was so new to the site and didn’t know what to expect. Well I was approved first try and was selling templates within 2 days.
Well, turns out, my Bluelight template has become quite the hot product. Within two months, Bluelight has climbed in sales to 283 purchases to date, which is currently #3 in HTML sales. It has also been in the Popular category since upload, holding #1 for 2 weeks straight. If it sounds like I’m bragging, I AM
.
The popularity of the HTML template has also brought forth a Bluelight WordPress theme. Manage all of your content in style. Multiple color schemes, a theme options page, project category management and blog functionality. Not bad for a $25 price tag. Hell, I’m even using it on my site!
Now at the risk of losing work to a template website, I invite you to visit ThemeForest!
